Oversaw design, development, integration, testing, and acceptance phases of major simulation and training programs. Performed marketing and proposal preparation functions, working closely with key industry partners to develop unique, winning solutions for aircraft and ground simulation programs. Successfully captured several new large contracts, including Indra Systems' first competitive proposal win. Software Development Team Leader / Aerospace Engineer, United States Navy, Patuxent River, Maryland. Served as model manager for high-fidelity real-time/analytical airframe simulations at Manned Flight Simulator facility on Patuxent River Naval Air Station. Oversaw and directed efforts of other engineers in making improvements to these simulations. Led a team of aerospace and software engineers in development of large (250,000+ SLOC) software product used for authoring and hosting flight simulation software. Implemented standardized configuration management and code development processes across team. Held responsibility for securing complete support funding from Navy program offices on an annual basis and for managing this budget. (Summer 1996—Summer 2004)
