'Round the Galaxy Tour Now Complete!

Well, I'm afraid I got separated from my tour group around Procyon—I was fascinated and distracted by all the blue poodles. So my insurance would only cover passage straight to Kaus Australis, meaning I missed the whole Betelgeuse experience, but I expect you'll agree with me that was probably a good thing, if you've been watching the news.
FTL was a novelty for me, and it left me more than a little discombobulated. Not only did I find that I'm prone to near-C-sickness, but now I don't really know exactly how old I am. That last part's just as well, I suppose.
The food wasn't too bad, but the midnight chocolate and frambuesa buffet was more picturesque than edible. I was glad to finally get back to my own bed, comfortingly attached to a small, rapidly spinning rock that's hurtling through space at high speed. Ah, home.
Anyway, I'm back online now. Sorry for the extended absence. If I understand my GToR correctly, you'll be seeing all the blog posts and Twitter tweets I dashed off while on my trip sometime soon—anywhere from 100 to 256,000 years from now.
It's good to be back!
